This document is a template prepared for Sareli Labs S.A.S. and must be reviewed by a licensed attorney before publication.
1. Introduction
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies are used on https://trueleadapp.com/ (the "Site") and in the TrueLead web application (the "App"), operated by Sareli Labs S.A.S., Zapopan, Jalisco, Mexico ("TrueLead", "we", "us"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
The short version: our Site currently sets no first-party tracking cookies, no analytics cookies, and no advertising cookies or pixels. The only browser storage technology we use is strictly necessary for user authentication. Because of this, the Site does not currently display a cookie-consent banner — none is needed for strictly necessary technologies alone.
2. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies?
Cookies are small text files a website asks your browser to store. Local storage (localStorage) is a similar browser feature that stores key/value data on your device with no automatic expiry and is not sent to servers with every request (unlike cookies). Both are covered by this Policy and, in many jurisdictions (including under the EU ePrivacy Directive and guidance under the LFPDPPP), by rules requiring consent except where the technology is strictly necessary to provide a service you request.
3. What We Actually Use
3.1 Strictly necessary — authentication storage (localStorage)
When you sign in to the App, our authentication provider (Amazon Cognito) issues session tokens that your browser stores in localStorage so that you remain signed in while using the dashboard and so the App can authenticate your API calls. These tokens:
- are used only to authenticate you and maintain your session;
- are not used for analytics, advertising, profiling, or cross-site tracking;
- are never shared with or read by third parties for their own purposes;
- are removed when you sign out.
Because this storage is strictly necessary to provide the service you request, no consent banner is required for it under applicable ePrivacy rules.
3.2 No first-party tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies
We confirm, based on a technical audit of the Site, that:
- the Site and App set no first-party cookies for tracking, analytics, or advertising;
- there are no advertising pixels, tags, or beacons (e.g., no Meta/Facebook Pixel, no Google Ads tags);
- there is no analytics tooling (e.g., no Google Analytics) on the Site;
- no cookie-consent banner is currently deployed, because none is legally required while the above remains true.
3.3 Third-party resources loaded by the Site
The landing page loads the following third-party resources. These are not cookies set by us, but loading them transmits your IP address and browser user-agent to the third party (as with any web request):

3.4 Sentry (diagnostics — not cookie-based)
The App uses Sentry (Functional Software, Inc., US) for error and performance monitoring. Sentry collects diagnostic data (which may include IP address, browser/device information, and error traces) through software embedded in the App — not through cookies. This data is used solely to detect and fix defects and maintain service reliability, as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. How to Control Cookies and Local Storage
Most browsers let you view, block, and delete cookies and site data:
- Cookies: use your browser's settings to block all or third-party cookies, and to delete stored cookies (see the help pages for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge).
- Local storage: you can clear localStorage via your browser's "clear site data" option or developer tools (Application → Local Storage).
- Effect of blocking: blocking or clearing the authentication tokens in localStorage will sign you out of the App and may prevent the dashboard from functioning until you sign in again. Blocking Google Fonts or the Tailwind CDN may affect the visual appearance of the landing page but not its core content.
Because we do not use analytics or advertising cookies, there is currently no on-site preference center; if that changes, one will be provided (see Section 6).
6. If This Changes (Analytics or Advertising in the Future)
Action item: If TrueLead later adds analytics, advertising, or any other non-essential cookies or tracking technologies (e.g., Google Analytics, advertising pixels), we must, before those tools go live: (1) update this Cookie Policy and the Privacy Policy to describe them; (2) implement a cookie-consent banner / preference center that obtains prior opt-in consent where required (EU/EEA and other opt-in jurisdictions) and offers opt-out where required (e.g., CCPA/CPRA); and (3) reassess third-party transfers arising from the new tools.
7. Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date, and material changes will be notified as described in the Privacy Policy.
